Multifunctional role of women as a key driver for rural development

PROJECT MORE - Second co-creation event – SEERC

On October 30th 2022, the second co-creation meeting was organized in the MORE project (Multifunctional role of women as a key driver for rural development).  The aim was to review the proposed training modules put forward in the project to ensure their relevance and longevity for the target audience.

The meeting started with an overview of the project, the key members, and the projected outcomes.  Each of the training modules was overviewed.  Participants debated each but felt that the overall focus was strong, especially the need for business planning.  They emphasised the need to ensure that the digital component was infused throughout the training and that business growth and development be strengthened.
Participants expressed great interest in further discussing the multifunctionality aspect of women in rural development and pointed towards the fact that in Greece this had evolved due not only due to the covid pandemic but also the preceding Greek economic crisis.  Participants were eager to learn about the Greek research in the final co-creation event planned for late November.
