RESET


With over 20 years of combined experience in research and education, RESET invests in the creation, evolution, and revolution of social-driven concepts, systems and practices that prioritize humanity and respond to our time's most demanding societal challenges. Our organization focuses on knowledge acceleration so as to amplify positive local, national, regional and global change RESET aims to “shape the future together” through Research, Education and Dialogue. As coordinator and partner in more than 30+ EU (Erasmus+, ISF-P, H2020) and International projects (University of Queensland-Australia, Davis Projects for Peace-US) we undertake high-quality management, implementation and dissemination. The purpose of RESET is to promote a fair and nonviolent world through education, open dialogue, skill development among professionals and vulnerable groups, and constructive participatory action. RESET is working in close cooperation with governmental departments, local municipalities, NGOs, commercial entities, and educational institutions in order to address market, social, economic and cultural challenges. RESET belief, is that the three pillars of our work, Research, Education and Dialogue can lead to creative solutions that impact significant change to the social fabric of every society. RESET team is composed of experienced, fully equipped researchers, dialogue facilitators, trainers, educators, project managers, web developers & graphic designers. The areas of expertise are in the fields of community and youth-led initiatives, education/e-learning, social inclusion, dialogue and social empowerment.

RESET has been awarded as one of the two organisations responsible for the coordination and implementation of YoungCities, a programme funded by the Youth Board of Cyprus, with the aim of empowering young people to make positive and active changes in their communities. RESET was mainly responsible for the design and delivery of a ten-week educational programme that promoted education towards community change among young people using innovative learning tools and approaches. Our trainers are also part of the Cyprus Youth Council trainers working closely with youth on several aspects such as social reintegration, empowerment, active citizenship, conflict resolution and prevention of radicalization. Furthermore, our trainers have also undertook international-level training by the United States Institute of Peace on ‘Introduction to Peacebuilding’ and ‘Media and Arts for Peace’ which is knowledge that they fully apply on youth-related conflict-resolution and radicalization prevention work
