Melissiotisses took their name from Melissi, the name of the village`s region where during the 17th century there was once a monastery , dedicated to The Virgin Mary, Melissiotissa. The women of the village thought they could share all their goods with you. In the village Kiliomenos, they built there shop where you can find the products that the Women Cooperative make.
